The Cabinet Recording Secretariat, Policy Analysis and Review Unit (PARU), and the Performance Monitoring Evaluation Unit (PMEU) are responsible for supporting collective government and helping to ensure the effective development, coordination and implementation of policy.

The work of the Office of the National Security Advisor (ONSA) is primarily responsible for the provision of advice on security, intelligence and defence matters, coordination across the country’s security operations and monitoring implementation and update of National Security Policy.
